My Role This product deals with the workflow between designers and developers, and it is crucial that I was the After scoping out Arcade team priorities, here are the self-made goals for my internship:

  • Document my learnings on Design Tokens & Design Systems

  • Facilitate in the organization of Brand Identity

  • Further the Design System of Arcade

  • Design a blog for the Arcade team

  • Collaborate with Developers to ship the product

Deliverables Blog Posts, Video Learnings, Functioning Arcade Blog, Product Prototypes (yep… a LOT)

Things I’ve Learned (So Far)

 
  • The current designer and developer workflow is broken—asynchronous workflow costs more money and time, and synchronous workflow is holistically more productive and empowering

  • Reframing your design process to understand that your work is disposable enables more iteration, and therefore more success

  • Better to apologize than to ask permission
